Get to know Professor Sheng Qi
Professor of Pharmaceutical Material Science and Technology at the School of Pharmacy of the University of East Anglia. Prof. Qi’s lab has great interests in pharmaceutical material sciences and processing. By working with industrial partners as well as cross-discipline collaborators, her group is aiming to contribute to the interdisciplinary research area of enhancing drug absorption via tailoring the physical chemistry of drug formulations. Recently through the support of UEA Health and Social Care Partners, she founded UEAHSCP Point of Care 3D Printing Research Group to allow the scientists from UEA and other academic collaborators to work with clinicians, pharmacists, and patients to identify and develop efficient and cost-effective uses of 3D printing in acute hospital environments. https://research-portal.uea.ac.uk/en/persons/sheng-qi
